Choosing a tropical look
- Palms: soft, arching fronds for lobbies, lounges and poolside-style interiors, such as the 70cm areca palm for tabletops and taller areca and fan palms for floor positions.
- Yuccas and dracaena: upright, spiky outlines that take up less floor space, for example the 125cm dragon tree dracaena. See also dracaena plants.
- Traveller and banana palms: wide, paddle-shaped leaves that make a strong statement in larger spaces.
- Monstera: big split leaves that read instantly as tropical, from potted plants to single leaves for styling.
Height and spread
More than half the range is between 60cm and 180cm, with seven lines at 180cm and above. Tropical plants are often as wide as they are tall, so check the width figure against walkways and seating. Most lines come in a weighted plastic pot ready to drop into a decorative planter; a few palms are supplied unpotted, such as the 75cm unpotted palm, for planting into your own containers or troughs. Outdoor and bright positions
Eleven lines in this range are UV-stabilised, including the 150cm UV traveller banana palm and several yuccas, areca and cycas palms. UV-stabilised lines contain UV inhibitors that slow colour fade in bright and outdoor positions. All artificial foliage fades gradually in prolonged direct sun; UV-stabilised stock fades far more slowly than untreated stock. We don't publish a lifespan. Treat unflagged lines as indoor stock. Using the filters
Start with a height band, then filter by type. Palms and tropical plants are sold singly, so for multi-site or multi-room schemes add a minimum-stock chip of 25 or 50 and check the live figure before you order; stock is not reserved. For palms specifically, the palm finder adds more detail, and for cacti and succulents see the cacti and succulents finder.

Which tropical plants can go outside?
Eleven lines in our palm and exotic range are flagged UV-stabilised, including traveller banana palms, yuccas, and areca, cycas and raphis palms. UV inhibitors slow colour fade in bright and outdoor positions; all artificial foliage fades gradually in prolonged direct sun, but treated stock fades far more slowly. We do not publish a lifespan. Outdoor plants also need a heavy or ballasted planter.
Are palms supplied in pots?
Most palms and tropical plants come in a weighted plastic pot, with the pot size listed on each product page, ready to sit inside a decorative planter. A few palms are supplied unpotted for planting into your own containers, and a couple come in a decorative cement planter. Check the pot details on each product page before ordering planters.
Do you sell monstera plants and single monstera leaves?
Yes. Our monstera collection has potted monstera plants from 60cm to 180cm, including variegated and tree-form lines. How many of one palm can I order?
Palms and tropical plants are sold singly, with no per-line minimum beyond the £150 ex VAT order value. The finder shows exact live stock for each line, so filter by minimum stock to see which palms can cover your quantity. Stock is not reserved until you order, so for phased or multi-site projects, contact us about continuity before committing.
