Our Ferns & Grasses collection covers 37 artificial ferns and grasses — Boston, bird's nest, lady, royal and moss-base fern plants, and grasses such as onion grass, lemongrass and lavender grass — from 22cm to 150cm. Lines in this collection are sold individually.
Ferns work as fillers, shelf and table styling or bathroom greenery, while taller grasses add height to displays, receptions and window schemes; mix compact ferns with taller grasses to build layered displays. What is the minimum order and delivery cost for trade accounts?
We supply the trade only, with a minimum order of £150 ex VAT that you can make up from any lines. UK mainland delivery is £14.99 below £300 ex VAT and free on orders of £300+ ex VAT; VAT is added at checkout. Orders are dispatched within one working day of cleared funds.
Are these ferns and grasses suitable for outdoor or bright locations?
Choose lines marked UV-stabilised, such as the 90cm UV Resistant Artificial Boston Fern Plant. UV-stabilised lines contain UV inhibitors that slow colour fade in bright and outdoor positions. All artificial foliage fades gradually in prolonged direct sun; UV-stabilised stock fades far more slowly than untreated stock. We don't publish a lifespan.
Do you offer fire-retardant ferns for hospitality and contract projects?
One line here — the 75cm fire-retardant Boston fern plant — is fire-retardant. Our fire-retardant lines are made from fully tested fire-retardant materials. Testing is carried out at material level to EN 13501-1 (reaction to fire, classification B-s2, d0) and NFPA 701, and the same tested material is used across the range's styles. Test reports are available to trade customers on request, and your venue's fire risk assessment decides what is acceptable in a given location. Keep all artificial plants clear of heaters, candles, cooking equipment and naked flames.
