Our Fire Resistant collection brings together all 36 fire-retardant lines: UV-stabilised hanging trailing plants, a 190cm palm garland, foliage stems and bushes (all sold individually), and trees from 45cm to 210cm — including areca and phoenix palms, natural bamboo, black olive, lychee, ruscus and retusa ficus. They suit hospitality, care and healthcare settings, contract fit-outs and events.

Our fire-retardant lines are made from fully tested fire-retardant materials. Testing is carried out at material level to EN 13501-1 (reaction to fire, classification B-s2, d0) and NFPA 701, and the same tested material is used across the range's styles. Test reports are available to trade customers on request, and your venue's fire risk assessment decides what is acceptable in a given location. What fire testing applies to these products?
Our fire-retardant lines are made from fully tested fire-retardant materials. Testing is carried out at material level to EN 13501-1 (reaction to fire, classification B-s2, d0) and NFPA 701, and the same tested material is used across the range's styles. Test reports are available to trade customers on request, and your venue's fire risk assessment decides what is acceptable in a given location. Keep all artificial plants clear of heaters, candles, cooking equipment and naked flames.
Why do some product names say "fire resistant" and others "fire retardant"?
All lines in this collection are fire-retardant: made with materials treated to slow ignition and flame spread. "Fire resistance" in building terms (EN 13501-2) is a different property that we do not claim for artificial plants.
Are any of these plants suitable for outdoor or sun-exposed areas?
The hanging trailing lines here are also UV-stabilised — see Fire-Retardant and UV-Stabilised Artificial Plants. UV-stabilised lines contain UV inhibitors that slow colour fade in bright and outdoor positions. All artificial foliage fades gradually in prolonged direct sun; UV-stabilised stock fades far more slowly than untreated stock. We don't publish a lifespan.
What is the minimum order and how does delivery work for trade accounts?
We supply the trade only, with a minimum order of £150 ex VAT that you can make up from any lines. UK mainland delivery is £14.99 below £300 ex VAT and free on orders of £300+ ex VAT; VAT is added at checkout. Orders are dispatched within one working day of cleared funds.
