How the range breaks down

Some trees sit in more than one type. By height, 14 lines are under 60cm, 92 are 60cm to 119cm, 163 are 120cm to 179cm and 40 are 180cm or taller; the large trees by height page lists everything from 120cm up. 45 trees are UV-stabilised for bright or outdoor positions and 11 are fire-retardant.

Choosing a tree

• Height: the table gives the listed height of the tree. Allow for any decorative planter you add, which raises the finished height, and leave clear space below the ceiling.
• Width: check the width column against the floor space. Palms and money trees spread wider than ficus or bamboo of the same height, which matters in corridors and beside doors.
• Pot: most trees come in a plastic weighted pot sized for the tree, with dimensions on each product page; 45 lines include a decorative or metal planter. To match a planter, use the plant and planter fit finder.
• Detail: natural trunks, variegated leaves and dense canopies read as more convincing at close range, for example the 150cm ficus with 1,008 leaves or the 120cm kentia palm.
• Flags: only UV-flagged trees should go outdoors, and only fire-flagged trees may be described as fire-retardant. Keep every tree clear of heaters, candles and naked flames.

Ordering trees

Every tree is sold singly, apart from topiary listed as a pair, so order exact quantities. Large tree orders are generally palletised. For statement pieces such as the 260cm XXL cherry blossom tree, check the access route to the room before you order.
