Wholesale Artificial Wisteria & Blossom Trees: Trade Buyer’s Guide

Our wisteria range is small and specific: five wisteria trees from 90cm to 150cm, in white, light pink, purple and yellow, plus a hanging white wisteria stem. Flowering trees as a whole are a larger range of about 30 lines, with cherry blossom running from 120cm to a 260cm XXL tree. None of the wisteria or blossom trees is UV-stabilised, so the whole category is for indoor and fully covered use, and one 210cm cherry blossom is fire-retardant.

Two range facts shape every order. First, each wisteria colour is a single line at a single height, so a mixed-colour wisteria display will also be a mixed-height display; plan the arrangement around that rather than expecting four colours at 150cm. Second, the blossom range is where the height is. If a brief calls for a wisteria-style statement above 150cm, a tall cherry blossom is the stocked alternative. We do not list wisteria arches, arbours, garlands or branch bundles.

Wisteria colours and heights

Treat the five wisteria trees as five distinct products rather than one tree in several colours.

A practical grouping for a shop window or reception is the 150cm light pink tree at the back, the 130cm white to one side and the 90cm white bush in front: three heights, about 2m of frontage, and a white-to-pink palette that reads clearly through glass. Wisteria and blossom stems are the companion product for florists and event stylists who build their own installations. The 100cm Pink Blossom Spray Stem, its white and yellow versions and a 110cm trailing cherry blossom stem are sold individually, like all our flower stems, and let a stylist extend a tree scheme across a table or arch frame the client supplies.

Blossom and flowering trees up to 260cm

The flowering tree range covers more than cherry blossom. Alongside the blossom trees above, it includes bougainvillea at 120cm, 150cm and 180cm, such as the 150cm Pink Bougainvillea Tree; forsythia at 60cm, 120cm and 150cm; rose trees at 90cm, 105cm and 150cm; a 140cm flowering rhododendron; azalea in copper or gold metal planters; and hydrangea and camellia bushes around 70cm to 75cm.

What to check on a sample

Wisteria and blossom trees are judged close up and from below, so a few checks on arrival tell you whether a line suits your customers.

  1. Raceme and floret coverage. On wisteria, check whether the hanging racemes are full to the tip and whether the branch structure shows when you look up from seated height, the angle guests actually see.
  2. Branch wiring. Bend a branch and release it. It should hold the new position, which is what lets you shape the canopy for each site.
  3. Trunk and base. Check how the trunk sits in the weighted pot and whether the tree leans once shaped. Tall, wide canopies need a heavier outer planter for stability.
  4. Shedding. Handle the tree firmly. For event hire, where trees are installed and struck repeatedly, low shedding matters more than any other point.
  5. Colour under your lighting. White and light pink shift noticeably under warm and cool light; view a sample under the lighting it will live in.

Indoor use and fire-retardant lines

No wisteria or blossom tree in the range is UV-stabilised or flagged for outdoor use. Use them indoors, in conservatories that do not take full sun, and under solid canopies for short events. The 210cm Fire Retardant Cherry Blossom Tree with 1206 Flowers is the only fire-retardant flowering tree. Our fire-retardant lines are made from fully tested fire-retardant materials. Testing is carried out at material level to EN 13501-1 (reaction to fire, classification B-s2, d0) and NFPA 701, and the same tested material is used across the range's styles. Test reports are available to trade customers on request, and your venue's fire risk assessment decides what is acceptable in a given location. The wisteria trees and other blossom trees are not fire-retardant, and every artificial tree should be kept clear of heaters, candles, cooking equipment and naked flames, which matters at weddings where candles and wisteria often share a table. Planning an order by buyer type

The same small range serves quite different businesses. These illustrative plans show how each typically builds an order; quantities are examples only.

Event and wedding hire

Hire stock is bought in matched multiples so every booking looks the same. A starting kit might be four 130cm white wisteria trees for aisle and entrance pairs, two 90cm white wisteria bushes for the cake or signing table, and two 150cm white cherry blossom trees for a backdrop, plus cases of white blossom spray stems to dress arches the stylist already owns. Budget for heavy outer planters and transit cartons, because hire trees travel far more than display trees.

Garden centre or gift retailer, spring display

One of each wisteria colour shows the full choice in a single bay, backed by 120cm pink, white and yellow blossom trees for a slimmer, lower tier and a 150cm bougainvillea for colour depth. Label every tree clearly as indoor only; customers will assume a flowering tree can go in the garden.

Hotel, restaurant or salon

Usually one statement plus supporting pieces: a 180cm pink cherry tree or, in a double-height lobby, the 260cm XXL cherry blossom, with 120cm blossom trees either side of the entrance door on the inside. If the fire risk assessment asks for fire-retardant planting in an escape route or lobby, specify the 210cm fire-retardant cherry blossom for that position.

In every case, write the height of each tree including its planter onto the plan before ordering. A 150cm tree in a 35cm planter is well over 1.8m, which changes how it sits under lights, signage and ceilings.

  • Units: trees, blossom stems and flower stems are all sold individually; 6 or more mixed stems earn 20% off.
  • Minimum and prices: £150 ex VAT minimum across the whole order; all prices ex VAT with a VAT invoice.
  • Payment: paid up front by card, bank transfer, PayPal or card by phone; there are no credit terms on this site.
  • Delivery: UK mainland £14.99 under £300 ex VAT and free from £300 ex VAT, with surcharges for remote areas and the Highlands and Islands. Orders dispatch within one working day of cleared funds; a paid next-working-day service is available if you order before 10am, which helps with event deadlines.
  • Stock: live stock is shown on every product page. We don't reserve stock or publish restock dates, so check the lines you need before confirming an event or window date, and ask us about continuity for a season of repeat bookings.

Canopies are compressed in the box. Allow time to open the branches and separate the racemes before a client sees it, and keep the carton if you will transport trees between events.

Frequently asked questions

Do you sell wisteria taller than 150cm?

No. The tallest wisteria tree is the 150cm light pink. For height above that, use the 180cm pink cherry tree or the 210cm and 260cm cherry blossom trees.

Can I get the same wisteria tree in several colours?

Not at one height. Each colour is a separate line with its own height: white at 90cm and 130cm, purple at 110cm, yellow at 120cm and light pink at 150cm.

Do you sell wisteria arches or garlands?

We do not list arches, arbours or wisteria garlands. Stylists usually build these by dressing their own frame with blossom and trailing cherry blossom stems.

Are the trees heavy enough to stand on their own?

They arrive in weighted nursery pots, which are fine for a level indoor floor. For wide canopies, busy venues or event use, set the pot inside a heavier planter and add ballast.
