Pairs and singles
Thirty-two lines are listed as matched pairs, with two trees under one SKU, and many shapes also come as singles. For entrances, counters and symmetrical displays, order pairs; for rows along a terrace or window, mix pairs and singles to reach the exact count. Check the product title before you calculate quantities.
Indoor or outdoor
Twenty-nine topiary lines are UV-stabilised for entrances and terraces; the rest are for indoor positions. UV-stabilised lines contain UV inhibitors that slow colour fade in bright and outdoor positions. All artificial foliage fades gradually in prolonged direct sun; UV-stabilised stock fades far more slowly than untreated stock. We don't publish a lifespan. Filter by the UV flag, or see UV-resistant plants and the commercial outdoor planting hub.
Heights and planters
- 120cm to 150cm: 49 lines, the standard size either side of a shop or hotel door.
- 90cm: window boxes, counters and narrower doorways.
- 45cm to 70cm: tabletops, shelves and window displays.
Most topiary comes in a plastic weighted pot. Eight spiral lines come with a decorative planter. Outdoors, set the pot inside a heavier planter with ballast so tall, narrow shapes stay upright in wind; see large planters and outdoor plants.

Frequently asked questions
Does a topiary pair SKU contain two trees?
Yes. Lines with "pair" in the title are listed as two matched trees under one SKU, so one unit dresses both sides of a doorway. Many shapes are also listed as singles. Check the title in the table before you calculate quantities, especially when mixing pairs and singles along a frontage.
Which artificial topiary trees can go outside?
Only the 29 UV-flagged lines, which include cedar cypress, buxus spirals, ball-cones, triple balls and bay laurel. They contain UV inhibitors that slow colour fade, though all artificial foliage fades gradually in prolonged direct sun and we don't publish a lifespan. Set them in a heavier planter with ballast so they stay upright in wind.
What height of topiary suits a shop or hotel entrance?
For a standard single door, 120cm to 150cm topiary gives presence without blocking signage, with 49 lines in that band. Narrower doorways and window boxes suit 90cm trees. Allow for the height a planter adds, and keep the canopy clear of the door swing and any handle so the trees are not knocked.
What trunk options are there on bay laurel trees?
Bay laurel ball standards come on a plain stem, a twisted stem or a natural trunk, at 90cm and 120cm, as singles and pairs. Twisted stems add detail at close range, for counters and hotel entrances, while plain stems suit a cleaner, more formal frontage. There are also 50cm dwarf bay bushes and bay pyramids.
Do artificial topiary trees need a planter?
Most arrive in a plastic weighted pot that keeps them upright indoors but is not decorative, so most buyers set them into a planter. Eight large-leaf spiral lines come with a decorative planter. Outdoors, choose a heavy, wide-based planter and add sand or gravel as ballast, because tall, narrow topiary catches the wind.
