150cm Artificial Pink Rose Tree — wholesale artificial plants

Artificial White Wisteria Trees for Weddings and Events

For wedding and event hire, build around two white wisteria lines: the 130cm luxury wisteria tree with white flowers for ceremony pairs and entrances, and the 90cm white wisteria bush for aisles, tables and plinths. Our whole wisteria range is six lines from 80cm to 150cm; we don't stock LED wisteria, wisteria arches or trees over 150cm, so extra height comes from plinths or taller white blossom trees.

The white wisteria we stock

Two white lines do most of the work, with three coloured trees in the same arching format for other palettes. For event planting across the whole range, with live stock, see our artificial flowers and plants for events and weddings page.

Every wisteria is sold singly. The hanging spray's availability varies, so check it on the wisteria collection before you build it into a package. The coloured trees are the 110cm purple wisteria tree, the 120cm yellow wisteria tree and the 150cm light pink wisteria tree.

Building hire packages

Hire clients book packages, not trees, so define three or four standard sets and price each one. Worked examples using the white lines:

  • Ceremony pair. Two 130cm trees either side of the ceremony table or backdrop, each in a matching outer planter. This frames the couple at standing height and suits most registrar and celebrant layouts.
  • Aisle set. For an aisle of ten rows, a 90cm bush on a plinth at every other row end gives five per side: ten bushes. Every row end doubles it to twenty, which reads as a continuous line but doubles the handling.
  • Entrance set. A second pair of 130cm trees at the venue door or the drinks reception ties the day together, and moves to the top table for the wedding breakfast.
  • Table set. One 90cm bush at each end of the top table and one beside the cake. Keep trails clear of table candles.

A full wedding of all four sets comes to four 130cm trees and thirteen 90cm bushes (ten on the aisle, three at the tables). Two trees of the same line give a closely matched pair; check and fluff both before each event so the canopies balance. Hold one spare 130cm tree for every three or four pairs you hire out, so a tree damaged in transit never costs you a booking.

Getting height without taller trees

Clients often ask for wisteria at 2m or more. Our wisteria stops at 150cm, so get height in other ways:

  • Plinths. A 90cm bush on a 60cm plinth puts the trails at about 150cm, eye level for standing guests. A 130cm tree on a 40cm plinth reaches about 170cm.
  • Tall planters. A tall outer planter adds height and weight together. A 43cm Inoke embossed composite planter in stone (overall 43 x 43 x 43cm) takes the 18cm pots on the 130cm trees with room to ballast; check the inner opening on the product page.
  • White blossom trees. Group wisteria with a taller white tree such as the 150cm white cherry blossom tree, or the 120cm white blossom tree where you need a slimmer 40cm canopy.
  • Stems. For arches you build yourself, dress the frame with 100cm white blossom stems, sold individually, and fill the base with the trees.

The weighted pots are small against a 70cm crown, so a tree knocked at shoulder height can tip. Set every tree in a heavier outer planter, pack the gap so the pot cannot rock, and keep trees out of the main guest flow. Large planters give a consistent look across a hire set.

Matching whites and mixing colours

"White" varies between suppliers and even between lines, and it changes under warm venue lighting. Before a wedding, stand the tree next to the client's linen, ribbon or dress swatch, ideally under the venue's own lighting. When you mix the 130cm tree, the 90cm bush and white blossom in one scheme, set them out together at your premises first so any difference in tone shows before the day, not at the venue.

For colour weddings, the same arching format comes in purple, yellow and light pink, and the flower stems collection has blossom and spray stems in matching colours for table arrangements. A mixed palette, such as white trees at the ceremony and light pink at the entrance, lets one hire stock serve more bookings.

Hire economics: cost per booking

Price wisteria as a hire asset, not a sale. The working sum is purchase cost plus planters and plinths, divided by the bookings you realistically expect before the set looks tired, plus a handling cost for every booking: collection, cleaning, re-fluffing and repacking.

As an illustration only, using invented figures rather than our prices: a ceremony pair and planters that cost you £400, hired 20 times before retirement, carries £20 of purchase cost per booking. Add, say, an hour of handling at your own labour rate, plus van costs, and you have the floor for your hire charge. White shows dust and marks sooner than coloured stock, so allow more handling time for white sets, and rotate tired trees to secondary positions before retiring them. Wider reuse economics for event stock are covered in our planned guide Reusable Artificial Florals for Event Businesses.

Transport, storage and re-fluffing

  • Transport trees upright where you can. If they must lie down, support the trails and stack nothing on top.
  • Sleeve each crown in a loose, breathable bag so trails don't tangle with the next tree.
  • Store dry and covered, trails hanging free or laid loosely, out of direct sun. Let anything back from a damp marquee dry fully before packing.
  • Re-fluff on arrival: separate each trail, straighten bent stems and stand pairs side by side to check they match.

If you ship trees on to clients, our guide to long cardboard boxes for tall artificial trees covers box sizing. Orders containing packaging boxes only ship with orders over £500 ex VAT.

Outdoor ceremonies and venue fire questions

None of our wisteria lines is UV-stabilised or fire-retardant. For an outdoor ceremony, use them for the day only, out of rain and strong sun, and dry them fully before packing. For marquees, gazebos and garden rooms, see Artificial Wisteria Indoors, Outdoors and Under Cover: What to Specify.

If a venue asks for fire-retardant dressing, the only fire-retardant flowering tree we stock is the 210cm fire-retardant cherry blossom tree. Our fire-retardant lines are made from fully tested fire-retardant materials. Testing is carried out at material level to EN 13501-1 (reaction to fire, classification B-s2, d0) and NFPA 701, and the same tested material is used across the range's styles. Test reports are available to trade customers on request, and your venue's fire risk assessment decides what is acceptable in a given location. Whatever you use, keep planting clear of candles, heaters, cooking equipment and naked flames. More on fire terms is in Fire-Rated Artificial Plants: What Commercial Buyers Need to Know.

Frequently asked questions

Can I buy one tree to test before building a hire package?

Yes. Wisteria is sold singly, so a first order can be one of each line, as long as the order reaches the £150 ex VAT minimum. Trade customers can also see the trees at our Louth showroom by appointment.

Do you sell LED wisteria trees or wisteria arches?

No. We don't stock lit wisteria, arches or frames. Build your own frame and dress it with blossom stems, or frame the ceremony with a pair of 130cm trees.

How quickly can stock reach me before a booking?

Orders dispatch within one working day of cleared funds. A next working day service is available at extra cost for orders placed before 10am, Monday to Friday. UK mainland delivery is £14.99 under £300 ex VAT and free from £300 ex VAT; see our ordering and delivery page.

Can I add more of the same tree next season?

Check live stock and the SKU before reordering; lines sell out and change. Buy the pairs a package depends on in one order where you can, and ask us about continuity if you are planning a larger set.
